We’re looking for a skilled AutoCAD Technician with experience in Audio Visual (AV) and Low Voltage systems to join our expanding team. You’ll support the design and documentation of international AV projects including video conferencing rooms, classroom technology, and digital signage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce and update CAD drawings (floor plans, RCPs, rack elevations, wiring schematics, block diagrams)
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and AV designers to deliver accurate documentation
• Integrate AV components into architectural and MEP drawings
• Develop as-built documentation after installations
• Support shop drawings, conduit layouts, and mounting details
• Ensure compliance with AVIXA/InfoComm, NEC, ADA, and EIA/TIA standards
Requirements
• 2+ years drafting experience in AV/Low Voltage systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (3D a plus)
• Advanced English communication (spoken/written)
• Knowledge of AV integration and manufacturers (Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Cisco, Shure, QSC, etc.)
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ADA, NEC, EIA/TIA, AVIXA)
• Ability to interpret architectural, electrical, and construction drawings
• Experience with Revit/BIM, Bluebeam, Visio, or D-Tools is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
