We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Bilingual Controller to join our dynamic team.

 

About the Position

This is a remote full-time position where you will play a key role in managing the financial operations of our clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight. If you are an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for accounting, this role is perfect for you.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Handle general accounting tasks such as AP, AR, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Use QuickBooks and Excel to maintain up-to-date financial records.
  • Assist in tax preparations and ensure compliance with US tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, addressing accounting concerns and providing solutions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all financial matters.
  • Provide financial analysis, problem-solving, and research support as needed.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory).
  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in Controller/Accounting Manager roles.
  • 2+ years of general accounting experience in a progressive role, ideally in a public firm.
  • Advanced understanding of accounting principles, US GAAP, and tax regulations.
  • Expertise in QuickBooks (Online preferred) and strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
