We are looking for a Customer Service Representative with proven experience working with U.S. carriers and transportation companies to join our logistics support team.

The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating freight loads, scheduling delivery and pickup appointments, and maintaining effective communication with clients and carriers via customer portals and email.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate a stable work history, strong skills in freight management systems, and the ability to resolve service issues promptly while ensuring excellent customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Accept, record, and schedule loads in coordination with carriers and customers.
  • Schedule pickup and delivery appointments, maintaining constant communication with U.S.-based shippers and consignees.
  • Manage customer portals (AS400, FreightScience, or similar) to schedule and track shipments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, or service issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Immediately report any service interruptions and coordinate with internal teams to resolve them.
  • Monitor high-priority accounts with regular communication to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with billing to obtain required documentation for timely invoicing and payment.
  • Manage trailer pools, drop trailers, and related trailer activity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience with U.S. carriers and transportation (minimum 2 years).
  • Customer service experience in transportation, logistics, or truckload services.
  • Familiarity with AS400, FreightScienceor similar systems (preferred).
  • Advanced English (written and spoken).
  • Strong computer literacy; ability to work with multiple systems and dual monitors (a plus).
  • Stable work history and demonstrated professionalism.
