We’re looking for a Division 8 Detailer and Estimator to join our growing team at Order Green Supply. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in commercial construction estimating and detailing, particularly in doors, frames, and hardware.
You’ll play a key role in preparing accurate take-offs and competitive bids while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze architectural drawings and specifications for Division 8 scope.
- Perform detailed material take-offs for doors, frames, and hardware.
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals for commercial projects.
- Coordinate with vendors for pricing and lead times.
- Collaborate with project managers and general contractors.
- Track bid deadlines, RFIs, and project documentation.
- Support value engineering and alternate product recommendations.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in Division 8 estimating and detailing.
- Strong knowledge of doors, frames, and hardware specifications.
- Proficient in reading architectural plans and specs.
- Experience with Software for Hardware or similar platforms (preferred).
Soft Skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong time management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple quotes and prioritize detailing post-award.
