Join our team as a Senior Electrical Designer and work on large-scale commercial, industrial, and multi-residential projects!

Location: Remote (EST time zone)
Schedule: Flexible, core hours 10 AM – 7 PM EST

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Designer with experience in electrical design for commercial, industrial, and multi-residential buildings. This role requires advanced expertise in AutoCAD (must) and knowledge of Revit (preferred).

You will work independently on designing and documenting electrical systems while ensuring compliance with the Ontario Electrical Code and other industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical system design – Power distribution, wiring, panel sizing, lighting, fire alarm systems.
Code compliance – Apply Ontario Electrical Code, Ontario Building Codes, CAN/ULC, and NFPA standards.
Project management – Handle multiple projects independently, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Interdisciplinary collaboration – Work with mechanical and structural engineers to coordinate project designs.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in electrical building systems design.
Expertise in AutoCAD – Creating blocks, annotations, and advanced electrical schematics.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and compliance standards.
Advanced English skills – Comfortable in client and team communication.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Valid Ontario Driver’s License.

Nice-to-Have Skills

✨ Revit experience.

✨ Knowledge of high-voltage systems, solar PV, and EV charging infrastructure.
